General damages to Garda injured in the course of duty assessed at €20,000

High Court, in assessing damages for member of An Garda Siochana who sustained a fracture to his dominant right wrist and cuts to his lips in the course of his duties, determines that the appropriate level of general damages is €20,000 and awards special damages in the sum of €394.50 as agreed between the parties.
